What does it do? In TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine)

This formula is made by combining Shi Quan Da Bu Tang and Huan Shao Dan, with the addition of various herbs. Shi Quan Da Bu Tang greatly nourishes the vital energy and the blood, and is used to treat deficiencies of the vital energy and blood, sallow complexion with a thin face, physical developmental deficiencies, and post partus blood deficiency. Huan Shao Dan is used to treat deficiency-cold of the spleen and kidneys, vital energy and blood deficiencies, loss of appetite, fever with nocturnal sweating, nocturnal emission with whitish and turbid urine, and emaciation and weakness of the muscles and body. The Morinda(Ba Ji Tian) this formula enter the vital essence and blood of the kidneys. Foeniculum(Xiao Hui Xiang) enters the kidney vital energy of the kidney channel and nourishes the prime minister-fire of the gate of life. Rehmannia(Di Huang) and Lycium(Gou Qi Zi) nourish the kidney fluids. When there is an abundance of the element fire, then the element earth is strong and the spleen is healthy and active. Eucommia(Du Zhong) and Achyranthes(Huai Niu Xi) strengthen the waist and knees and aid kidney function. Poria(Fu Ling) and Dioscorea(Shan Yao) are diuretic and dry up wetness: they aid spleen function. Cornus(Shan Zhu Yu) and Schizandra(Wu Wei Zi) promote lung function and act as astringents to retain sperm and prevent its outflow. Broussonetia(Zhe Shi Zi) aids yang energy, eliminates deficiency types, and strengthens the muscles and bones. Ocimum(luo le) eliminates wetness and aids digestion. Pseudoginseng(San Qi) stimulates blood circulation, eliminates stasis, stimulates the production of new blood and promotes the healing of internal injuries. Ginseng(Dang Shen) and Astragulus(Huang Qi) nourish the vital energy. Ligusticum(Chuan Xiong) and Anglica(Dong Gui) nourish the blood. Cinnamomum(Gui Zhi) promotes the smooth flow of vital energy in the twelve channels and meridians. This formula is especially effective in treating adolescent conditions and enhancing physical and mental energy.
