Directions

What does it do? In TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine)
This formula is made by modifying Bu Yang Huan Wu Fang through the addition and deletion of various ingredients. It is used to help hemiplegia, deviation of the eye and mouth, difficulty in speech and drooling from the comers of the mouth. This formula invigorates the blood, stimulates blood circulation and eliminates blockages from the meridians.
This formula principally uses Astragalus(Huang Qi) as its main herbal ingredient to greatly invigorate primordial energy. Angelica(Dong Gui), Cnidium(Chuan Xiong), Carthamus(Hong Hua) and Prunus(Tao Ren), when combined with Astragalus(Huang Qi), help the Astragalus(Huang Qi) to invigorate blood circulation and eliminate blood stasis. Salvia stimulates blood circulation, cools the blood and sedates the nerves. Loranthus(Sang Ji Sheng) invigorates the liver and kidneys and strengthens the tendons and bones. Mucuna(Ji Xue Teng) nourishes the blood, promotes blood circulation and clears blockages from the meridians: in cases of deficiency of primordial energy with pathogenic factors lingering in the meridians, it increases the vital energy, stimulates blood circulation, clears blockages from the meridians and eliminates numbness.
This formula is helpful of the after effects of apoplexy, hemiplegia and deviation of the eye and mouth.
