What does it do? In TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine)

This formula eliminates blood stasis and is used to treat lower abdominal tenderness accompanied by constipation.
This formula is made by adding Cinnamomum(Rou Gui) and Prunus(Tao Ren) to Tiao Wei Cheng Qi Tang. Prunus(Tao Ren) stimulates blood circulation and eliminates stasis. It is the principal herb in this formula. Cinnamon(Rou Gui) cassia can open up the circulatory system to allow the blood to flow smoothly and can also eliminate blockages. Rheum(Da Huang) and Depuratum(Mang Xiao) can purge the bowels, stimulate blood circulation and eliminate stasis.
This formula is primarily used in the clinical support of female disorders such as difficult menstruation, swelling of the uterine muscle and various illnesses caused by irregular menstruation.
