Directions

What does it do? In TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine)
The Ligusticum(Chuan Xiong), Prunus(Tao Ren), Carthamus(Hong Hua), Boswellia(Ru Xiang), Commiphora(Mo Yao), Sparganium(Jing San Ling) and Curcuma(Er Shu) in this formula are the principal ingredients of Huo, Xue Hua Yu Tang. (Please refer to the Huo Xue Hua Yu Tang formula in this book). Melia(Chuan Lian Zi), Cyperus(Xian Fu Zi) and Corydalis(Yan Hu Suo) are the principal herbs in the Li Qi Zhi Tong Fang recorded in this book. Hence, they are effective in helping painful menstruation, and are even effective in helping pain caused by concentrations of tumors /lumps or abdominal masses, and in helping pain caused by blood stasis obstructing energy channels /meridians and blocking the arteries through which vital energy Qi flows. When the above ingredients are combined with Dang Gui San Fang, Typha(Pu Huang), Foeniculum(Xiao Hui Xiang) and Artemisia(Ai Ye), these combined herbs regulate the blood and vital energy, warm the meridians and stimulate blood circulation. Hence they are effective in helping any female condition related to painful menstruation.
